The Casino group is ranked 1st food distributor in the world for its CSR commitments by the Wall Street Journal.

The Wall Street Journal has just published its annual ranking of committed companies and ranks Casino Group as the 40th most sustainably managed company among more than 5,500 listed companies worldwide. A great reward for all the employees of the Casino Group, in France and around the world.

The Wall Street Journal's renowned and independent "WSJ Ranking of Sustainably Managed Companies" annually ranks companies according to their environmental, social and societal policies and commitments. More than 5,500 companies were surveyed this year. Each company is rated based on a series of data it provides (up to 165) as well as thousands of additional sources available in the Wall Street Journal databases. The scores and results are established using an approach based on artificial intelligence, which is then validated by a team of researchers specializing in environmental, social, and corporate governance issues.

With a score of 73 points, the Group is ranked 40th. It is the only and therefore the 1st distribution group present in the world's top 100. A great reward for all the Casino Group's employees, in France and around the world, which confirms the Group's first position in the Moody's VIGEO EIRIS ranking published a few weeks ago.
